Light Studies is an identity drawn from a single condition: how a room changes between morning and afternoon. The marks were made by tracing what the light left behind.

The palette stays close to paper. Contrast carries the work, so colour never has to.

An identity built from a lighting condition rather than a shape. The mark changes weight with the ground it sits on, and stays recognisable.

The manual is nine pages. Most of it is about what not to do when the light is wrong.
